Furniture & Lighting
Furniture and lighting at Sobek & Schnurl are designed by Victor Sobki, whose work brings together oriental elements, Art Deco, and a distinct contemporary flair. Produced by skilled craftsmen in Egypt, the designs draw on traditional techniques while remaining firmly rooted in the present. Wood, brass, alabaster, and other natural materials are used with precision and restraint, allowing each piece to carry both character and clarity.
The collection includes furniture and lighting in a range of forms and finishes, designed to integrate seamlessly into different interiors while maintaining a strong visual identity. It also features selected pieces originally created for the exhibitions ‘From the Nile to the Danube’ at the Egyptian Embassy in Vienna and ‘Lotus im Salon’ at Vienna Design Week 2025.
