Walid Taher
Walid Taher is an Egyptian painter, author, and illustrator whose work moves between visual art and literature. His practice is marked by a distinctive visual language, where image and text come together with clarity, humour, and depth.
Alongside his painting, Taher has made significant contributions to children’s literature, with over 70 published books. His work explores themes of identity, imagination, and human connection, reflecting a commitment to using art as a way of communicating, observing, and connecting.
His work has been exhibited in Egypt and internationally, including recent exhibitions in Cairo and Beirut.
At Sobek & Schnurl, we are proud to present a selection of his paintings and prints.
